My name is Jeff Baker. I live in Arizona where I have been a high school coach and now coach a travel club, the "AZ Panic of Sierra Vista." I have been involved with fastpitch for 9 nine years. My youngest daughter is currently playing college softball and is really enjoying the experience. I am working hard to turn our small town team into a well conditioned, fundamentally sound softball team that can compete against any of the teams in the country. Our oldest girls are year 89 and we have been able to place 4 players in college over the past two years. I look forward to being a part of this site and learning from some very smart softball people.

Hello My name is David Smock and have coached travel ball for the past 8 years. Having moved over from baseball i have found fastpitch to even more exciting. Maybe being able to coach my duaghter has something to do with that. Glad to see a site like this where one can pick the brains of other fastpitch junkies. Our team is the Illusions from Southaven Mississippi and we are a A type team.

Hi - I'm Cathy Riggs - Learning Support teacher and Head Softball Coach at Hempfield High School in Landisville, PA (Lancaster).....I took over as head coach this past season after being an assistant coach with the program for the past 11 years.....It's been a great experience taking over the helm during the '08 season and the girls did a great job in adjusting to changes....We made the League playoffs and District playoffs for the first time in 5 years and I couldn't be prouder of the girls and my assistant coaches!!!! Speaking of staff - our coaching staff was also voted coaching staff of the year (by our colleagues) for Section One in our league of four sections, so it's been a great experience not only for the girls, but the coaches as well.....I've loved the chance to use resources like this web site, and your e-mails, with coaching tips and can't wait to get started with planning the '09 season!!!! Thanks so much for giving "rookie" head coaches the opportunity to get the most out of their teams by creating a web site like this one - and giving us the opportunity to contact others with the same love - FASTPITCH SOFTBALL!!!
