I have heard many a catcher complain about their feet hurting after a long day of catching. Just wanted to see what type of shoe and maybe even what is the best brand that your catcher wears. I am from Arizona where the fields are hard, dry and packed. My catcher usually wears turf shoes for practice and molded cleat for games, but the new young one wears metal cleats and she is the one that complains the most.

With a daughter that plays catcher in HS and travel ball, we have gone through a lot of cleats over the years. We have good luck with several Adidas molded cleats, and the one metal one that works for her is the RIngor Diamond Star with Pro-Tec-Toes. She has prescription orthoditics that fit inside both brands very well.
The Ringors at around $100 arent cheap but their durability is excellent.
