What about things you watch for when coaching 3rd base against a team you dont know, like in travel ball. Like the catchers arm on her throw down, does 3rd charge a bunt when a runners on second? How deep is SS with a runner on second? Give me you...
Greg,
Yes I am a certified Mike Epstein instructor. I bought the tapes when I was coaching freshman girls, I was looking for a system that I could teach 14 girls at one time. We ended up hitting .389 as a team, I have 10 homeruns hit by 6 different girls. It work pretty well that I went out in July of that year and became certified. Since then I have became the asst./hitting coach at D3 college. I am also working with FastPitch USA team. Is it worth it? yes I am as busy as I want to be. I have had a lot success with it.

Moving up is always a little tough for awhile but you actually get to see what your girls are capable of accomplishing. We are doing alot of moving girls around so that they can be more versatile. It is so funny because the games that the coaches think the girls may loose is the ones they win. We cann't help but laugh. The coaches put them back into their normal positions and we lost. Go figure. I think it is because they are on edge and pay more attention to the game.
Yes, that is my daughter catching. She is a shy kid until she puts on the storm trooper suit then she is the most aggressive kid you could meet.
She sprung her ankle this past weekend sliding into 3rd and had to sit the next day. Oh, that was not good. She HATED it.
That is a great picture of you and your daughter. As parents we have to enjoy EVERY minute with our kids and this is a great way to be a big part of their lives.
Great page! I believe I have actually seen your team play before. My daughter plays for the Rowan Rage 12u. We play a lot of Concord, NC games, Rock Hill and Charlotte games. Look forward to hearing from you.
